Living Word Minden and Champion Life united on Saturday, December 21, to host a community giveaway at Victory Park, bringing holiday cheer to hundreds of attendees. The event featured the distribution of 100 bicycles, 20 tablets, 30 turkeys, and numerous Bibles as part of the organizations’ mission to spread the message of Jesus.
A festive atmosphere filled the park as families enjoyed inflatables, dancing, and fellowship. The event’s giveaways were awarded to registered participants through a series of drawings, adding excitement to the day’s activities.

“This ain’t about a bicycle; this ain’t about a tablet … Everything we brought today is temporary except one thing … Jesus,” said Roddy Shaffer of Champion Life. He encouraged attendees to seek spiritual fulfillment by becoming active in their faith. “Find a church you like. If you don’t like that one, go find one. Get your family in church. It’ll help your marriage, your money, your kids, and everything.”

Pastor Trey Waller of Living Word Minden echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the transformative power of faith. “Jesus changes everything. If you’re lacking somewhere, Jesus is the answer,” he said.

The community giveaway highlighted the spirit of giving and unity during the holiday season while sharing a message of hope and renewal. Organizers expressed gratitude for the large turnout and the opportunity to make a positive impact.
As the day concluded, the smiles of attendees and the generosity of the event served as a reminder of the power of faith and community in uplifting lives.
