North Webster swept Plain Dealing in girls and boys games Monday night in Springhill.
The Lady Knights rallied for a 66-61 overtime victory. The Knights won 53-15.
North Webster trailed 39-31 after three quarters in the girls game. Makiyah White’s phenomenal performance in the fourth quarter keyed the comeback.
White knocked down five 3-pointers and scored all 18 of her points in the quarter. Nazaria Caldwell also hit a 3. The Lady Knights outscored the Lady Lions 26-18 in the fourth to send the game into overtime tied at 57.
North Webster (10-6) then outscored Plain Dealing 9-4 in the extra period.
Caldwell, who hit three free throws in OT, led the Lady Knights with 24 points, including three 3-pointers. Shakyra Hawkins scored four of her 13 points in overtime.
The Lady Knights withstood a 32-point outburst by Plain Dealing standout Jakayla Douglas.
The North Webster boys improved to 3-9.
The Knights and Lady Knights play North DeSoto Tuesday in Stonewall.
