Webster Parish students honored for academic excellence at Northwestern State University

Northwestern State University has recognized numerous students from Webster Parish for their academic achievements during the Fall 2024 semester, with several earning spots on prestigious academic lists.

A total of 717 students were named to the university’s Honor List for the Fall 2024 semester. To qualify, students must be enrolled full-time and achieve a grade point average (GPA) between 3.0 and 3.49. From Webster Parish, the following students were recognized:

  • Dubberly: Ava Dison
  • Minden: Lorelai Beaves, Emily Coleman, Cameron Dauzat, Emma Dauzat, Charlotte Edwards
  • Sibley: Cassie Mosley

Additionally, 892 undergraduate students earned recognition on the Dean’s List for the Spring 2023 semester. Dean’s List recipients must be enrolled full-time and maintain a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99. From Webster Parish, those honored include:

  • Cotton Valley: Haley Sandlin
  • Minden: Clotis Ary, Adrianna Maddox, Kameron Sappington, A’Shuntee Simmons, Anunye Thomas

The highest honor, the President’s List, recognized 529 students who achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA while enrolled full-time. The following Webster Parish students earned this distinction for the Fall 2024 semester:

  • Dubberly: Sarah Parnell
  • Minden: Madison Fread, Sarah Galvan, Arianna Gill, Landon Greer, Hollan Haynes, Richard Mitchell
