The Minden Lady Tiders held off the Bossier Lady Kats 52-45 to remain undefeated in District 1-4A Friday night at Bossier.
Minden improved to 13-11 overall and 5-0 in district. The Lady Tiders are tied for first with Northwood (16-9, 5-0). The Lady Falcons handed Southwood its first district loss 70-57 Friday.
Minden hosts Northwood Tuesday.
Brooklyn Jefferson led the Lady Tiders with 16 points. Travesti Byrd scored 11. Shelby Glenn added nine and Alexi Hatter eight.
Minden hit five 3-pointers in the first quarter and raced to a 17-8 lead. Glenn and Byrd had two each and Markeithdra Willis one.
Byrd and Willis sank one 3 each in the second quarter and Minden led 32-20 at the half.
The Lady Tiders cooled off in the third quarter but still led 39-30 going into the fourth. The Lady Kats got within five late in the fourth but could get no closer.
Zamarion Carter led Bossier (8-18, 1-4) with 18 points.
Elsewhere, Lakeside defeated Winnfield 37-33 in their final home game of the season.
Glenbrook fell to Ringgold 33-25 at home. The Lady Apaches defeated Lincoln Prep 44-34 Tuesday on the road.
