High school girls basketball: Minden, North Webster on road in first round of playoffs

The Minden Lady Tiders and North Webster Lady Knights are headed to the playoffs.

Official pairings were announced by the LHSAA Monday. 

Minden (14-11) is the No. 24 seed in non-select Division II. The Lady Tiders will travel to Opelousas to face No. 9 Northwest (20-6) in the first round.

North Webster (14-13) is the No. 17 seed in non-select Division III. The Lady Knights will travel to Moreauville to play No. 16 Avoyelles (10-15) in the first round.

Both games will likely be played Thursday.
