Woman arrested for criminal mischief after breaking vehicle window

by Minden Press-Herald

A Minden woman was arrested on March 4 after allegedly breaking a vehicle window during a dispute.

According to Minden police, officers responded to a disturbance at approximately 8:57 AM in the 400 block of Webb Court. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a man who reported that his ex-girlfriend, Mary Woodall, 33, shattered the window of her father’s van after he refused to give her a cigarette.

Woodall told officers she became upset when she saw her ex-boyfriend speaking with another woman outside the residence. She stated that she broke the vehicle’s window out of frustration because she wanted her ex-boyfriend, who resides in a shed on the property, to take her to the hospital to visit her sick father.

Police noted that Woodall and her ex-boyfriend have had previous disputes, with officers being called to the residence multiple times. Woodall, whose official address is on Shreveport Road, has also been escorted off the property on several occasions and was previously trespassed from the location.

Woodall was taken into custody and booked at the Minden Police Department on charges of criminal mischief.

All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
