High school softball: Glenbrook bounces back with win over Captain Shreve in Evangel tournament

The Glenbrook Lady Apaches bounced back from their first losses of the season with a 7-3 victory over Captain Shreve Saturday on the final day of the Evangel Christian tournament.

Colby Hollis, Vivian Still, Hallie Harmon, Anna Grace Vining and Ellie Earnhardt all had hits. The Lady Apaches took advantage of numerous errors.

Rebecca Mosley scattered six hits, struck out eight and walked five.

On Friday, Glenbrook fell to a red-hot Benton team 11-1 and host Evangel 6-2.

Gabi Brown had a triple against Benton. She went 2-for-3 with a double against Evangel.

Earnhardt went 2-for-3 against Evangel. Harmon had two RBI.

Glenbrook (9-2) is scheduled to visit Converse Monday at 4.
