Four parish teams notched victories Tuesday.
Lakeside defeated Many 25-16 in a District 3-2A game at Many, Glenbrook routed Plain Dealing 16-0 in a District 1-1A game at Glenbrook, Minden rolled past Weston 14-4 at Weston and Doyline downed Mansfield 18-8 at Doyline.
At Many, the teams combined for 41 hits.
Lakeside’s Emily Jones went 6-for-6 with a triple, three doubles and four RBI. McKenna Chreene went 5-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and four RBI.
Raleah Harris went 4-for-5 with a double and two RBI.
Meredith Robinson had three hits, including a double. Madilynn Squyres had three hits and two RBI. Teal Austin had two hits, including a double, and three RBI.
Maggie Mandino had two hits, including a double. Ella Wood hit a three-run home run in the top of the fourth.
Lakeside (11-2, 2-0) is scheduled to host Byrd Thursday at 4 in the Lakeside tournament. Many dropped to 4-5 and 1-1.
At Glenbrook, Hallie Harmon and Colby Hollis had three hits and two RBI each in the three-inning game. Harmon had a home run and double. Hollis had a triple and two doubles.
Vivian Still went 2-for-2 with a double. Chloe Gregan and Ellie Earnhardt had doubles.
Savannah Mangrum pitched a no-hitter with five strikeouts and one walk.
Glenbrook improved to 11-2 overall and 2-0 in district.
At Weston, Lizzie Balkom went 3-for-4 with a triple, double and two RBI in the five-inning game. Lindsay Ryan went 2-for-4 with a home run, double and four RBI. Leigha Kennon Gilbert went 2-for-2 with a double.
Tatum Miller went 2-for-3. Tatum Oliver had two RBI. Ryan struck out 12.
Minden (3-9) is scheduled to play Choudrant Friday at 3:30 and Stanley at 6 in the Stanley tournament.
At Doyline, Lanie Gates went 3-for-5 in the five-inning game. Kaylee Johnson went 2-for-3 with four RBI. Savannah Stanley had a triple and three RBI. Sariyah Gill had a double and three RBI. Raelynn Pease had two RBI.
Gill and Stanley combined for the win.
Doyline improved to 3-2.
