A Minden man was arrested Saturday after allegedly trespassing and stalking a homeowner, according to police reports.
Officers responded to a residence on the 100 block of James Place at approximately 3:01 PM on March 8 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The homeowner told officers that Teadrien Burris, 27, had been outside her home earlier that morning, sleeping on her front porch at around 5:15 AM before eventually leaving.
The homeowner reported that Burris made gestures into her security camera before moving to an abandoned house behind her property, where he watched her home throughout the day. Later that afternoon, at approximately 3 PM, Burris allegedly knocked on the homeowner’s door and ran off before she could contact authorities.
Officers were called back to the residence around 5 PM and located Burris outside. He was taken into custody and transported to the Minden Police Department for booking.
Burris was charged with criminal trespass and stalking.
All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
