Friday, March 14th, Central Elementary hosted its Miss Central Pageant. Students from all grade levels competed for various titles. The pageant has become a tradition that has been around since 2005. Due to Covid, there were a few years when it was on hiatus.
Mrs. Sara Chreene, event chair, has headed the event for several years. When asked why this event is dear to her, Chreene states, “It is so fun to see the girls dress up and feel like princesses. There is magic in their eyes as they get to dress up and have a fuss made over them.”

The event helped raise about $4000 for PBIS activities that support student positive behavior at school.
