Minden, Glenbrook, Doyline and North Webster all won Friday.
The Crimson Tide defeated Summerfield 20-0 at Minden, the Apaches downed Byrd 5-0 at Byrd’s LSUS field, the Panthers topped Homer 16-6 at Doyline and the Knights routed Richwood 20-0 in a District 1-3A game in Monroe.
Elsewhere, Lakeside dropped a tough 4-3 decision to Franklin Parish at Franklin Parish.
At Minden, the Tide scored four in the first inning then ended the game with 16 in the second.
Landyn Huddleston hit two home runs and had six RBI. Landon Brewer had a triple, double and two RBI.
Jaxon Smith had a triple and two RBI. Hudson Brown and Kyler Ray both doubled.
Keegan Pope didn’t allow a hit. He struck out four and walked two.
Minden (13-8) visits Doyline Saturday at 1.
At LSUS, Easton Sanders pitched a complete game. He allowed five hits, struck out five and walked none.
Ryan Reagan had a triple and two RBI. The Apaches only had three hits, but they took advantage of seven walks. Hudson Glasscock drew two walks and had an RBI.
Sanders and Dawson Day had one hit each. Seth Mangrum had an RBI.
Glenbrook (10-7) hosts Ruston Tuesday at 6.
At Doyline, Kenneth Anderson went 3-for-4. James Dodge went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Jonas Florence went 2-for-3. Ayden Moreno-Taule went 2-for-4.
Dario Galvez, ZackMoseley and Cooper Hayes had two RBI apiece.
Galvez went 3 1/3 innings for the win. He gave up two hits, struck out six and walked four.
Doyline improved to 6-7.
At Franklin Parish, the Patriots scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to pull out the win.
Lakeside’s Peyton Gray went 3-for-3 with a double. Jon Jon Dick went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Maddox Cascio had a double.
Starter Eli Campbell went 5 1/3 innings. He scattered six hits and allowed two earned runs.
Lakeside (9-12) visits Calvary Baptist Saturday at 6.
At Richwood, North Webster improved to 7-6 overall and 1-0 in district. The Knights continue district play Monday at Sterlington at 5.
