High school baseball: Glenbrook blanks Neville; Doyline routs Southwood

The Glenbrook Apaches shut out Neville 10-0 in five innings Monday in Monroe.

Easton Sanders pitched a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts and no walks.

Glenbrook led 1-0 after four innings then scored nine in the fifth.

Sanders had an RBI-double, Ryan Reagan had an RBI-single and Sam Ricord scored a run with a sacrifice fly. Hudson Glasscock’s two-RBI triple scored the final two runs. The Apaches took advantage of multiple errors.

Glenbrook (11-8) hosts Family Community Tuesday at 5. Neville dropped to 12-15.

Elsewhere, Doyline defeated Southwood 16-1 in three innings in Shreveport, and North Webster fell to D’Arbonne Woods 4-2 in Springhill.

At Southwood, Noah Spears had a triple and two RBI. Zach Normand had a two-RBI double. Kenneth Anderson had two RBI.

The Panthers took advantage of 11 walks and six hit-by-pitches.

Normand struck out four in two innings.

Doyline (8-9) visits Quitman Tuesday at 6.
