High school softball: Lakeside completes perfect run in District 3-2A; Glenbrook, Doyline win

The Lakeside Lady Warriors completed a perfect run in District 3-2A with an 18-0 victory over Mansfield Tuesday at Lakeside.

In non-district games, Glenbrook rolled past Loyola 15-0 in Shreveport and Doyline downed Haynesville 14-5 at Haynesville.

At Lakeside, the Lady Warriors scored three runs in the first inning then put 15 on the board in the second.

Lakeside had six hits and took advantage of 12 walks. Raleah Harris went 2-for-2 with three RBI.

Emily Jones had three RBI. Teal Austin and Madalyn Squyres had two each.

Ella Wood and Moose Jernigan combined on the no-hitter in the three-inning game. Wood struck out five and walked one.

Lakeside finished district play 4-0. The Lady Warriors (19-4) are scheduled to host Minden Wednesday at 5.

At Loyola, Gabi Brown had a home run, double and three RBI. Hadley Haynes went 2-for-3.

Chloe Gregg smacked a grand slam home run in the eight-run fourth. Vivian Still hit a solo home run.

Ellie Earnhardt and Hallie Harmon had doubles. Rebecca Mosley and Savannah Mangrum pitched two innings each. They combined for seven strikeouts.

Glenbrook (19-6) is scheduled to host Caddo Magnet Wednesday at 5.

At Haynesville, Karmadie Bartlett hit for the cycle. She went 4-for-4 with a home run, triple, double and three RBI. 

Savannah Stanley had two hits, including a triple, and three RBI. Klaytin David had two hits and three RBI. Lanie Gates had two hits. Kanyion Bartlett had a double.

Stanley went the distance. She allowed five hits, struck out five and walked two.

Doyline (7-5) is scheduled to visit Lakeview Thursday at 4.
