Four parish teams picked up victories Thursday.
Minden defeated North Webster 17-3 in Springhill, Glenbrook topped Family Community 11-5 in Shreveport, Lakeside downed Choudrant 9-1 at Choudrant and Doyline routed Gibsland-Coleman 22-2 at Doyline.
At North Webster, Minden took advantage of eight walks and seven hit-by-pitches in the four-inning game.
Leigha Kennon Gilbert and Tatum Oliver both had doubles and three RBI. Kaelynn Williams, Tatum Miller and Sky Savage had two RBI apiece.
Lindsay Ryan allowed four hits, struck out five and walked none.
North Webster’s Emma Newsom had a triple. Kerianne Allen had a double. Adryana White had two hits.
Minden improved to 11-14. North Webster (4-9) is scheduled to visit Bastrop in a District 1-3A game Friday.
At Family Community, Hallie Harmon went 2-for-3 with a home run, double and two RBI. Gabi Brown had a home run and two RBI. Chloe Gregg doubled with the bases loaded to give the Lady Apaches an 8-4 lead in the top of the fifth.
Gracie Heard had a double and two RBI. Vivian Still hit a solo home run and drew three walks.
Glenbrook (21-6) is scheduled to host Parkway Friday at 6.
At Choudrant, Teal Austin went 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBI. McKenna Chreene went 3-for-4. Emily Jones went 2-for-3 with a home run, double and four RBI.
Raleah Harris went 2-for-4 with a triple.
Chreene allowed five hits, struck out eight and walked two.
Lakeside (21-4) is scheduled to visit Stanley Monday at 6.
At Doyline, Sariyah Gill went 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI in the three-inning game. Savannah Stanley had two hits, including a home run, and four RBI.
Kanyion Bartlett had two hits. Karmadie Bartlett hit a home run and drew two walks.
Raelynn Pease and Lanie Gates had two hits each. Arianna Crump and Klaytin David had two RBI each.
Stanley struck out seven and walked one. Doyline (8-5) is scheduled to host Forest Friday at 4.
