The 23rd Annual Burn Run, hosted by the Brother’s Keepers Motorcycle Club 1st-Shreveport Chapter, will take place April 25–26 at Lake Bistineau State Park to raise funds for Camp I’m Still Me, a regional burn camp for children.
The event begins at 5:00 PM Friday, April 25, and concludes at 6:00 PM Saturday, April 26. Activities include live music, food, a trivia run, and a live auction scheduled for 12:30 PM Saturday.
Since its founding in 1992, Camp I’m Still Me has provided a supportive environment for young burn survivors across the Ark-La-Tex. The camp offers activities such as arts and crafts, swimming, and friendly competitions aimed at helping children regain a sense of normalcy and form meaningful connections with peers and mentors.
The Brother’s Keepers MC, composed of firefighters, has supported the camp through the Burn Run since the event’s inception. The club’s mission is to help children who have suffered burns “be a kid again.”
Lake Bistineau State Park is located at 106 State Park Road in Doyline. The event is sponsored by Webster Parish Tourism and is open to the public.
