Citizens About Progress (CAP) is proud to announce the launch of its FREE State Test Prep Program, designed to equip students with the tools, confidence, and academic strategies they need to succeed during statewide testing season.
Sessions are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the CAP Learning Center, located at 113 East Church St. Springhill, LA
Open to students of all grade levels, the Test Prep Program includes:
- Focused reading and math strategies
- Practice tests and real-time support
- Interactive learning stations
- Small-group instruction and one-on-one assistance
- Confidence-building activities to reduce test anxiety
“Our goal is to not only prepare students academically, but emotionally,” said Terrell Mendenhall of CAP. “We want each student to walk into the testing room feeling equipped, supported, and powerful.”
This program is part of CAP’s larger mission to provide academic enrichment and equitable access to resources for all students, especially those in under-resourced communities.
Space is limited, and participation is encouraged throughout the testing season. Parents can register their students or get more information by contacting 318-639-7008.
Let’s work together to help our scholars finish the school year strong!
