Brian Morgan Mixon, 63, of Minden, LA passed away April 18, 2025 in Nixa, MO. He was born May 14, 1961, to Charles and Cecelia Mixon in Klamath Falls, OR.
Brian lived with his family in Klamath Falls, Oregon until he was six, when his dad was transferred to Louisiana with Willamette Industries. To hear Brian, Kevin & Lisa tell stories of their Pecan View childhood (Lowe Woods, Clay Dumps, many more, IYKYK) has always been fun for the family and friends to hear. They are great story tellers.
As a child, Brian learned of God and His son Jesus Christ. He took in all those Bible stories that are so important to children. As an adult father of three young children he was baptized at Emmanuel Baptist Church where he was ordained as a deacon. He was a member of Germantown Baptist Church where he joyfully led the music service every Sunday morning. He guided his family to know Jesus Christ. That knowledge is all he desired for his family.
Brian knew hard work and gave his employers everything he had to get the job done. Whether it be mowing neighborhood yards as a boy, hauling hay and working at the city sewer pond as a teenager. Working twenty years for Ruskin Mfg. as a millwright and 25 years for Aeropres Corporation as a gas plant operator. He gave everything his all!
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Mixon and his mother, Cecelia Mixon.
Brian is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tammi Allen Mixon, his children, Chase Allen Mixon & wife, Jennifer Howell Mixon, Caitlin BreAnn Mixon, Hayden Morgan Mixon & wife, Katherine Davis Mixon. Brian loved and adored his eight beautiful grandchildren: Brooklyn Rayne Mixon, Elizabeth Leigh Mixon, Benjamin Howell Mixon, Willow Cait Mixon, Matthias Mason Mixon, Cason Allen Mixon, Victoria Adeline Mixon and Titus A. Thomas Mixon.
Brother, Kevin Mixon and wife Jeri, and sister, Lisa Mixon McCabe, many nieces and nephews.

713 Homer Rd., Minden, LA.
