Lakeside finished second in the girls division in the District 3-2A meet held Tuesday at Mansfield.
The Lady Warriors scored 136 points. Mansfield won with 169.
Mansfield also won the boys division with 201 points. Winnfield finished second with 126.
The top four finishers in each event qualified for the Region I-2A meet which will also be held in Mansfield next Wednesday.
Girls
Lakeside’s Lexi Bradley was named Track MVP.
She won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 and ran a leg on the Lady Warriors’ winning 4X800 relay team.
Bradley and teammate Annie Cooper finished 1-2 in the 800. Bradley’s time was 2 minutes, 34.11 seconds and Cooper’s was 2:50.07.
Bradley won the 1,600 and 3,200 by wide margins. She ran a 5:53.80 in the 1600. Winnfield’s Jasmine Jones was second in 6:28.80, Bradley ran a 13:34.11 in the 3,200. Many’s Lola Curtis was second in 16:50.61.
The foursome of Bradley, Angel Collins, Bailey Mangrum and Alexis McIntosh took the 4X800 in 11:53.08. Winnfield was second in 12:31.17.
Ja’Kiah Williams and Ty’teyanna Williams finished 1-2 in the 100 hurdles. Ja’Kiah ran a 19.51 and Ty’Teyanna a 20.97.
Ty’breyanna Williams won the triple jump with a distance of 30 feet, 10 inches. Mansfield’s Denham Davis was second with a 29-3. Lakeside’s Naja White was third with a 28-3.5.
Kylee Taylor qualified in four events. She was second in the long jump with a 16-1. Mansfield’s Germanee Robertson won with a 16-5.
She took third in the 200 in 26.64. Mansfield’s La’Jordan Boykins won in 25.08
Taylor also finished fourth in the 100 and javelin.
Abrielle Parker was third in the 400 in 1:05.19. Boykins won in 58.65. Boykins also won the 100 in 12.37.
The foursome of Jerryne Cole, Cooper, Parker and Lexi Wood finished third in the 400 in 4:48.13. Mansfield won in 4:15.79.
McIntosh was fourth in the 1,600.
Boys
Jamarion Evans was Lakeside’s lone winner. He took the discus with a throw of 118-8z Mansfield’s William Phoenix was second with a 112-6.
Luke Mandino finish second in the 1,600 and 3,200. He ran a 6:17.03 in the former and a 14:16.30 in the latter. Red River’s Logan Mims took the 1,600 in 5:10.09. Winnfield’s Noe Vazquez won the 3.200 in 13:05.41.
Kentravion Miller was second in the shot put with a throw of 43-3. Mansfield’s Jordan Hamilton won with a 44-6.
Willie Jenkins finished second in the javelin with a 126-1. Winnfield’s Javonta Grigsby won with a 128-10.
J’Quon Shehee took second in the triple jump with a 35-11. Mansfield’s Tramajah Carroll won with a 40-6.
James Maxie was fourth in the 110 hurdles.
