Acy Sullivan318Funeral services for Acy L. Sullivan will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, with the Rev. Henry Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Dubberly. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Acy was born Oct. 13, 1937, in Castor, and entered into rest Oct. 20, 2014, in Arcadia. He was employed by Soil Stabilizers for 39 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lougena “Gena” Blackwell McCoy Sullivan of Dubberly; sons, Accie L. Sullivan Jr. of Sibley, Jeff Sullivan of Shreveport, Bryan Sullivan and partner, James Osborne of Shreveport, Louis (Lee) McCoy of Dubberly and Jason McCoy and wife, Kathy of Dubberly; sisters, Ellen Page of Castor and Joyce Jordan of Ringgold; brother, Kenneth Sullivan of Castor; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Harper, Derrick Banks, Fred Banks, Carey Stevens, Terry Lowery and T.V. Razer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brett May and Jeremy Haddox.
