AG: Cullen woman jailed for fraud

A Cullen woman was recently arrested for Medicaid fraud, according to Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry.

Danicka Thomas, 36, was arrested on four counts of Medicaid Fraud for allegedly submitting falsified documents for payment of services not rendered.

“It is disheartening when people steal from the Medicaid program, a program intended to help our neediest citizens,” Landry said.

“My office is committed to fighting back against fraud and bringing those who commit it to justice.”
