Graveside service for Allen Burl Humphries of Doyline, LA will be held at a later date at 2587 West Lake Church on Hwy 163 Doyline with Bro. Wayne Jones officiating.
Allen enjoyed his time with his wife, Margaret riding horses or going to horse sales. Allen ask Jesus Christ to come into his heart while watching Jimmy Swaggart on T.V. Allen always said Freedom Baptist Church was his church and he loved to hear Bro. Wayne preach.
Allen was born March 3, 1943, and passed from this life October 31, 2022, at the age of 79.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Bertha Humphries: brother, Charles Humphries and infant brother, Chester Nelson Humphries; and sister Shirley Lovett. Those left to cherish his memories, his sister, Mary Knapp; wife, Margaret Humphries; daughter, Jeanise Montgomery; two sons, Carlos Leon and Chuck San Angelo and wife Jennifer; two grandsons, Eric and Daniel Aguillard; four granddaughters, Olivia Guillory and husband Phillip, and Ella, Noele, and Faith San Angelo and also a host of extended family and friends.
