August 31 through September 4 is voter registration week. Registration events will take place at the following times and locations:
Monday, August 31 through Friday, September 4 – Registrar of Voter’s Office at the Webster Parish Courthouse from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, September 2 – Springhill Council on Aging from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. – Willie & Mary Mack Memorial Branch Library from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m.
Thursday, September 3 – Minden Council on Aging from 8 until 10 a.m.
AVC Edge voting machine demonstrations will be available in the registrar’s office for anyone interested in becoming more familiar with the voting machines used during early voting.
