Anthony (Tony) Heard was born on November 21, 1958. He passed away after a lengthy illness at home with his wife, Monnie, by his side on March 1, 2024.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Andy Heard; sister, Angela Heard; nephew, Taylor Jones; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Nancy Calhoun and sister-in-law, Kayla Gorham.
Tony is survived by his wife, Monnie; son, Drew Heard; daughter, Lindsey Heard; grandson, Silas Heard; mother, Gloria Robinson; sisters, Lisa Heard and Tina Jones; sister-in-law, Susan Vess (and husband, Denny); nephew, Peyton Gorham (wife, Jessica and their five children) and nephew, Pete Gorham.
Monnie would like to than Passages Hospice for being their for her and Tony.
Tony and Monnie met 52 years ago. They loved riding around in her little red Toyota back then.
Years later, they saw each other in Walmart and got married shortly after that. Tony and Monnie have been married for 29 years.
Tony wanted to be cremated and did not want a memorial. Monnie will honor his wishes.
Monnie wants it to be known that Tony was the love of her life and she knows they will be together again.
