Minden High School and Lakeside High School will host its inaugural Minden-Lakeside Athletic Auction on Saturday, Aug. 6 at Pine Hills Country Club.

The auction is a joint effort to raise funds for both school’s athletic departments.

MHS Principal Robin Tucker, along with LHS Principal Denny Finley, say they are excited about the effort and thanked the community in advance for their support.

Fried fish dinners catered by Hugh Wood and friends will be served from 5 until 7 p.m. for $10 each.

The table and live auction will kick off at 7 p.m. and is sponsored by area supporters. Table auction items will cost $1 per chance.

While parents are bidding on items, the MHS and LHS cheerleaders will care for the little ones in the kids korner with kid-friendly games, face painting and bounce houses.

Twenty sponsor tables will be available for $500 and will include 10 fish dinners, tickets to the table auction items, and advertising throughout the event.

To donate auction items, reserve your sponsor table, or participate, call Tucker at 377-2766, Finley at 377-2133, Todd Patterson at 382-2605 or Gary Cooper at 423-2433.
