Funeral services for Barbara Daniel Chandler will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Jim Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Hurricane Cemetery in Arcadia, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Barbara was born June 14, 1943 in Loran, Louisiana and entered into rest July 21, 2019 in Haughton, Louisiana. She was a graduate of Minden High School and Louisiana Tech. Barbara was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church where she was very active. Barbara loved her church family and friends and all the activities they enjoyed together. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, and she loved her dogs and rescued many of them along her life’s journey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Mary Daniel, husband, Donald T. Chandler, sister, Patricia A. Hicks, and brother, Ranny Daniel.
She is survived by her sons, Alan Locke of Haughton and Greg Locke and wife Paige of Shreveport, brother, John Daniel of Arcadia, and grandchildren, Fox, Rayne, Sage, Graham, and Andrew Locke.
