Barbara Sue Kendrick, 81 of Minden, Louisiana, left this earth, May 17, 2021 to go home to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ. A long-time resident of Baytown, Texas, Sue was known for her jolly attitude and her incredible spirit. She loved and was loved by all she met. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
She was born on February 29, 1940 in Cleveland, TX. She was a leap year baby that had just had her 20th official birthday. She always got a kick out of that fact.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Kendrick, brother, William Foster and sister, Myrtle Ann Huron.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Kendrick and Paul Kendrick, Jr of Ezzell, TX; daughter, DeDe Griffith of Minden, Louisiana and sister, Nancy French of Uvalde, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren, Evan Griffith, Preston Griffith and wife, Shelby Griffith; great-grandchildren, Franklin Ellis Griffith and Cora Lee Griffith of Minden, Louisiana.
Sue lived in Texas for 79 years and always felt Texas was her home. A memorial in her honor will be held at a future date in Baytown.
