Funeral services for Betty Holcomb Giddings will be at 10 a.m., Friday, May 15, 2015, at at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Jimmy West officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Betty was born Sept. 7, 1940, in Homer and entered into rest May 12, 2015, in Sibley.
She was preceded in death by parents Paul and Annie Holcomb; husband, George E. Giddings; son, George Robert Giddings; brothers, Donald Holcomb and Randall Holcomb; and sisters, Evelyn Hightower and Shirley Kelley.
She is survived by her son Mike Giddings and wife Teri of Sibley; daughter, Sandra Giddings Lary of Minden; sister, Melba Faye Morgan of Sibley; brothers, Raymond Holcomb and wife Becky of Sibley and Charles Holcomb and wife Joyce of Doyline; sisters-in-law, Virginia Holcomb of Minden and Nellie Holcomb of Houston; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
