Bilbrey Tours hosted a tour in Minden as a part of the Holiday Trail of Lights. The tour stopped at properties like the Fuller House and The Villas at Spanish Court, as well as showcasing other highlights of Minden while backgrounding on its historic district.
Johnnye Kennon of Webster Parish Tourism had been working with Bilbrey Tours since February to plan the trip. “We want to make sure they see Minden, because they had a tour here before, and we wanted to encourage them to stop again and visit our little town, a hidden gem along Interstate 20.”
The tour also gave a preview of some of the properties that will be featured in the Christmas Homes Tour taking place on Sunday, Dec. 15. Tickets can be purchased at greatermindenchamber.com/events. “We haven’t held a tour of the homes since 2017. So we’re excited about the Christmas Homes Tour. We have some beautiful homes on the tour and the homeowners have gone out of their way to elaborately decorate in anticipation of attendees,” said Kennon.
