Funeral services for Bobby Edward Flournoy of Dubberly will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015 at Mt. Calm Missionary Baptist Church in Minden. Interment will follow at Sheppard Street Cemetary. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, 2015 at Benevolent Funeral Home in Minden.
Bobby passed away on Saturday, Aug. 29. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dessie Mae Crow Banks, his father, Esselie Lee Flournoy and his goddaughter Tan Wardlow.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife Gloria Flournoy, step-mother Maria Flournoy of Los Angeles; mother and father-in-law Richard and Lorene Cobb; sibling Edmond Flournoy of Norwalk, California, Marvin Ray Banks, Shellie Jean Banks Davis(Lloyd) and Gewanda Banks Wright (Charles), Minden, and Geraldine Banks, Shreveport.
Surviving children are Aeneas Ford (LaQuinsey), Debra Flournoy, and Devin Flournoy all of Mesquite, Texas; brother-in-law Richard Cobb Jr (Latrell) Houston; sister-in-law
Charlotte Cobb Kirk (Bruce) Harvey. Bobby also leaves behind six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
