A Celebration of Life visitation service for Brenda Morgan Ramsey will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana.
Brenda was born on March 9, 1947 to James and Eloise Morgan in Springhill, Louisiana and passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Brenda was a graduate of Minden High School where she lettered in basketball. Later in life, she played softball for the Howard Lumber Company as pitcher and was also captain of her bowling team. She was known as unique, thoughtful and creative. She was married to the love of her life for 33 years, James Ramsey. Brenda was a bookkeeper and retired from Ron Fayard & Associates Real Estate. She spent hours working in her yard and usually had some sort of project going at the same time. She put her personal touches on everything and you rarely got a gift from her that wasn’t personalized in some way.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Carroll Morgan. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Morris Ramsey; brother, Kerry Morgan and wife, Janice; daughter, Robin Kennon Cox and her furbaby, Daisy; step-daughters, Melinda Murphy and Kelly Ramsey; step-son, Chris Ramsey and wife, Shannon; seven step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; furbabies, Bandit, Ben and Dixie and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all.
