Aaron Buffington placed 1st in Division II Economics at the Regional Social Studies Fair at LSUS in Shreveport. He was one of five students from Lagniappe Montessori to participate in the fair. Research and essays were completed at school, and it served as an excellent cross-curricular learning experience with research and writing in addition to learning about their chosen topics. Buffington, a 7th grader, competed in a division comprised of 6th-8th graders. He now moves on to the state competition to take place in Lake Charles in March.
