Calumet transports World Trade Center beam

by Minden Press-Herald

Calumet Industries in Cotton Valley took part in transporting a piece of history to Bossier City Tuesday morning. A 16-foot steel beam from Ground Zero in New York City following the attacks on the World Trade Center was taken to the Bossier City Municipal Complex as part of the Liberty Garden display between the Bossier City Fire and Police Departments. Keith Chandler, with Calumet, says the company hired a contractor to transport it, and was expected to arrive by 10 a.m.
