The Broken Bean coffee shop will be celebrating its 6th anniversary this Saturday, April 29, from 10 AM until 4 PM.
The Broken Bean is a part of Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge (LAATC), a faith-based treatment facility which provides residential care to men and women struggling with addiction and other life controlling issues. It is one of the largest and most successful accredited programs of its kind.
LAATC owns and operates a variety of small businesses including the Broken Bean. These establishments help to provide their students with valuable on-the-job training and experience while providing a revenue stream to support the program.
Come out this Saturday to celebrate and support this great program. There will be live music, a bounce house, TC Snowball Shack, a prayer tent and more. Hourly drawings will also be held.
The Broken Bean is located at 107 McDonald Street, just in front of Minden Medical Center. Look for the sign of the Broken Bean: “Only when something is broken does it reveal its true aroma.”
