The Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce took its monthly Lunch Mob on the road Tuesday, July 7, encouraging members and the community to support Top Notch Tacos (TNT) with a special to-go edition of the event.
Rather than gathering for a traditional dine-in lunch, participants were invited to pick up meals from the restaurant, located at 1101 Shreveport Road, and enjoy them wherever they chose, whether at the office, a nearby park, or another location.
Although outdoor seating at the restaurant is limited, a steady stream of customers stopped by during the lunch hour. Several regular patrons enjoying lunch outside said anyone who has not tried the restaurant’s tacos, nachos, or desserts is “missing out.”

The Chamber introduced the to-go format to accommodate the restaurant’s limited seating while continuing its goal of supporting local businesses. Lunch Mob events are designed to encourage residents and Chamber members to patronize locally owned restaurants while providing opportunities to build connections within the business community.
The Greater Minden Chamber’s mission is to “create the best business climate in Louisiana for our members.” In addition to Lunch Mobs, the Chamber hosts networking events, educational programs, ribbon cuttings, and other activities that promote local businesses and economic development throughout the year.
