Funeral services for Charles F. Thornton will be held Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Jim Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Charles was born Nov. 27, 1936 in Wetumpka, Alabama and entered into rest Sept. 27, 2016 in Minden.
He is survived by his wife Olivia Thornton of Minden, daughters Robin Kearney and husband Alvin of Minden, Ramona Bunner and husband John of Palm Beach, Florida, Rhonda Lindsey and partner Steve Smith of Minden, four grandchildren, Erica Boulas of Minden, Heather Lindsey Holland of Shreveport, Joshua Kearney of Minden, Megan Lindsey of Minden and four great-grandchildren Christopher, Pippa, Wayne, and Liam who called him PaPa and his beloved dog Elsie.
