He is preceded in death by his mother Nellie McGraw and father Jess H. Brunner.
He was a very special man that gave of himself to everyone. He was a good husband and father to his family. When we were children, he took up so much time with us when we were around him and took us on so many exploring trips and taught us a lot of good values. He had so many friends everywhere he lived and was a caregiver for a lot of elderly people.
He served his country in the Navy – USS Estes/AGC 12 – Korea – Tachen Island – Vietnam. He was a member of VFW and American Legion. He served all with honor.
He was married to Nancy Elaine Ellis for 34 years. They had a daughter, Sharon Brunner, and son, Michael Brunner of Washington.
He was loved by everyone. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, sisters Delores Sullivan and Darlene and a ton of nieces and nephews of Louisiana, Colorado and Illinois.
A memorial service will be at the family’s home at 2 p.m, Sunday, Nov. 1.
