City of Minden employees were spotted installing Christmas decorations around town this week as the community prepares for the upcoming Christmas in Minden celebration.
Crews spent the day placing lights, wrapping poles in garland, and setting up other holiday displays along major streets and downtown areas. The annual effort marks the unofficial start of the local holiday season and signals the approach of one of the city’s busiest festive events.
City officials said the work will continue in the coming days as additional decorations are installed ahead of Christmas in Minden weekend set for December 12–14.
