The annual “Civitan Santa” toy project, organized by the Minden Civitan Club and the Young Woman’s Service Club, is continuing its effort to assist children in need throughout the Minden and South Webster Parish area.
Application forms remain available at the Minden Police Department and the Community Action Center. Forms will be accepted for children through age 13, and all applications must be submitted by December 15 to ensure toys can be delivered before Christmas.
Completed applications may be returned to the Minden Police Department or the Community Action Center. Other distribution points may collect forms as well, but organizers request that those locations call for pickup.
New toys may be dropped off at the Minden Police Department. Monetary donations may be mailed to the Minden Civitan Club, P.O. Box 95, Minden, LA 71058.
Toy Chairman Ed LaBruyere thanked the community for its continued support and noted that applications will be collected by him or Judy Grubbs through the December 15 deadline.
