The Minden City Council will convene a special session at 11AM Monday to consider a disciplinary recommendation issued by Fire Chief Brian Williams.
According to the meeting notice, the action concerns firefighter Michael Tyler Mandino and stems from conduct that occurred on or about August 23. A pre-disciplinary hearing was held October 23, after which Williams submitted his recommendation to the council.
The council may take any action it deems appropriate under applicable law. The agenda notes that, in accordance with Louisiana Open Meetings Law, the council may enter executive session during its discussion of the matter.
The meeting will be held in the Cypress Conference Room at Minden City Hall. A livestream will be available on the City of Minden’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
