A one vehicle crash left the driver with non life-threatening injuries after he was reportedly speeding down Lee Street. Latavion Seamster, 22, of Minden, was traveling down Lee Street at about 5 p.m., Friday, allegedly at a high rate of speed when he veered off the road to the right side, striking a guide wire, a utility pole and a tree, stopping in a drainage ditch. Minden police say the crash caused damage to public property and broke a power line, leaving residents without power for about three and a half hours. Seamster was transported by Pafford Ambulance to Minden Medical Center for his injuries. Officer First Class Chris Hammontree cited Seamster for careless operation and expired plates.
