Lewisville Road between Beck Street and Chandler Street was closed Tuesday afternoon as City of Minden crews worked to replace a utility pole that was snapped in half after a car struck it. The driver, Kiara Fefie, reportedly told responding officers she was reaching for her cellphone and left the roadway. Fefie was checked out at the scene by EMS. She received a citation for illegal lane usage.
