Cultural Crossroads Receives Grant

District 10 Rep. Gene Reynolds presents a check to Elaine Eaton on behalf of Northshore Community Foundation in the amount of $5,000 for Cultural Crossroads of Minden. Eaton wrote the grant to fund the summer art camp. Reynolds, a long supporter of the arts, was excited to present the award. “A man’s intelligence is the sum total of their experiences,” he said. “I told my students this during my years as a teacher. This can only be done with a well balanced curriculum that includes the arts. Cultural Crossroads has filled that gap for years and I am glad to assist this organization.”
