Children of Minden were enthralled by the sight of dinosaurs prowling the grounds of the library on Wednesday. The Dinosaur Experience, an educational and entertaining performance featuring Nash the dinosaur, not only taught the audience some facts about dinosaurs but also instructed them in how to train a dinosaur to stop on command. While it was hot enough outside to please any reptile, the heat did not interfere with the enthusiasm of the spectators.
The Dinosaur Experience was a special guest of the library’s Summer Reading Program which, this year, focuses on the environment. Next Wednesday the special guest will be Steve’s Snaketuary.
