The Minden branch of Webster Parish Libraries hosted Steve’s Snaketuary on Monday, June 16, as part of 2025 Discovery Camp.
The event drew a large crowd of campers, who appeared highly engaged as they learned about reptiles and the important role snakes play in the ecosystem. The presentation featured live snakes and educational demonstrations that allowed children to interact safely and ask questions.
Steve’s Snaketuary is one of several special programs scheduled throughout Discovery Camp, a four-week summer initiative designed to promote reading and STEM learning among school-aged children.
