Dixie Inn Police Chief Jim Edwards recognized police officers Alan Davis and Josh McCormick at Monday’s council meeting. Edwards said the officers went above and beyond the call of duty during the recent storms and floods to keep the village residents safe as well as the surrounding areas. Both officers were presented with a letter from the mayor and chief recognizing their work.
