Funeral services for Donald Ray McKissack will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday March 30, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Ronnie Whitlock and Zeb Pepper officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Dubberly. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Donald was born Feb. 9, 1933 in Roston, Arkansas and entered into rest March 26, 2016 in Minden.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gertie and Homer Lee McKissack, sister Carolyn Jean Hatfield and brother Autry Lee McKissack.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Hannah M. McKissack, sons Leonard Ray McKissack and wife Annette of Haughton, Donald Wayne McKissack, and, Richard Lee McKissack and wife Tina of Minden, daughter Janice Ann Holliday and husband Bruce of Minden, grandchildren Trey Bogues and wife Heather, Angela Davis and husband Josh, Melissa Harris and husband Scott, Kylie White and husband Brandon, Lauren McKissack, Richie McKissack and wife Olivia, Taylor McKissack, Elaina Pepper and husband Zeb, Ronnie Holliday and wife Vicki, Chonnie Turano and husband Dave and 13 great-grandchildren.
