Doyline downed by Episcopal of Acadiana

LAFAYETTE – The Doyline Panthers saw their season conclude Friday with a 59-44 loss to Episcopal of Acadiana.

“In the second half we had one of our worst offensive halves of the year,” Doyline head coach Michael Normand said. “Still, I’m really proud of the kid and their attitude all year. Hopefully, we can build off of this for next season. We’ll miss our two seniors, Cameron Smith and Tyreck Wilson.”

Desmond Jackson scored 12 points to lead the Panthers, followed by Tyeck Wilson who had 10 points in his final high school game.

Doyline ends their season with a 16-16 record, but returns plenty of firepower for next season.
