Doyline man charged with felony after missing juvenile found

by Minden Press-Herald

An 18-year-old Doyline man was arrested on January 4 after a missing juvenile from St. Tammany Parish was located at his residence.

According to the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Clark Circle after St. Tammany authorities pinged the juvenile’s phone in that area. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with an elderly resident who reported that a female matching the description of the missing juvenile was in his grandson’s camper.

Deputies made contact with Landon Gallman, 18, and confirmed the juvenile was present. The juvenile was placed in a marked patrol car while deputies questioned Gallman. After being advised of his rights under Miranda, Gallman admitted to traveling to Slidell to pick up the juvenile after meeting her online.

Gallman also admitted to providing the juvenile with marijuana and stated that they had smoked marijuana and engaged in sexual activity the previous night.

Gallman was taken into custody and booked into the Webster Parish Jail. He faces charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, a felony, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The juvenile was safely recovered.

All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
