MINDEN, LA. — After 37 years of caring for patients in the Minden community, Dr. Carl Hines is preparing to retire from patient care, bringing to a close a remarkable career dedicated to medicine and the people he has served.
For nearly four decades, Dr. Hines has been a familiar and trusted physician in the Minden community, caring for generations of patients and families throughout his many years of practice. His career has been defined not only by his medical expertise, but also by the relationships he has built with patients, families, colleagues, and the community.
From his years in private practice to his service with Minden Medical Center, Hines Family Practice, and Minden Primary Care, Dr. Hines has remained committed to providing compassionate, quality healthcare close to home.
“Dr. Hines has given 37 years of his life to caring for the people of this community,” said Keith Cox, CEO of Minden Medical Center. “His dedication to his patients and his commitment to the practice of medicine have made a lasting difference in the lives of countless individuals and families. We are grateful for everything he has contributed to our organization and to the Minden community.”
Throughout his career, Dr. Hines has had the opportunity to care for multiple generations of families, creating a legacy that extends far beyond the walls of a clinic or hospital. His patients have trusted him with their healthcare through some of life’s most important moments, and his presence in the community has made him much more than a physician to many of those he served.
“As Dr. Hines steps away from patient care, we want to simply say thank you,” Cox said. “Thank you for the many years, the countless patients, and the lasting contribution you have made to healthcare in our community.”
