MINDEN, La., October 24, 2025 – The Eaton Charitable Fund, a private foundation with the mission to improve the quality of life in communities of Eaton employees, provided a Founding Donor gift of $50,000 to the first Ronald McDonald House in North Louisiana. Through the April 2025 acquisition of Fibrebond, Eaton gained a workforce of 1,000 North Louisianians including direct employees and contract workers. Ronald McDonald House: Shreveport-Bossier will soon be opening its facility anticipated to care for more than 21,900 overnight guests annually, providing essential resources for families when their child is in need of healthcare.
“The Eaton Charitable Fund is proud to support keeping families together when their child is undergoing medical care,” said Amy Pausche, director, Community Affairs, Eaton, on behalf of the Eaton Charitable Fund. “We hope our gift supporting the family laundry space demonstrates our commitment to providing a sense of normalcy during what can be a high-stress time away from home.”
“This generous gift from the Eaton Charitable Fund is more than a donation, it’s a meaningful investment in the well-being of Louisiana families staying at Ronald McDonald House,” said Janell Mason, CEO, Ronald McDonald House Arkansas & North Louisiana. “We are so grateful that Eaton has picked up the baton of compassion from Fibrebond, continuing the legacy of support for families facing some of life’s most difficult moments. Providing a space for clean clothing and linens may seem simple, but for families far from home, it relieves a daily burden.”
“Fibrebond has been a part of the North Louisiana community for over 40 years, consistently upholding our responsibility to support the region,” said James Reed, vice president and general manager, Fibrebond. “Now that Fibrebond has joined Eaton, the Eaton Charitable Fund is engaging to make a difference for our employees, their extended families and the surrounding communities. Eaton is honored to join the North Louisiana community and welcomes this opportunity to contribute toward an organization that will care for so many.”
